This wonderful Buffalo Dancer Bolo (or Bola) Tie was made by Jonathan Beyuka, son of the late Eddie Beyuka (d. 2003). Inlay jewelry started in the 1920's and 1930's with the Zuni silversmiths. Among the key artists were Teddy Weahkee, Frank Vacit, Leo Poblano, and Lambert Homer. Eddie Beyuka and his family continued the tradition. Eddie's sons Jonathon, and Filbert continue to develop a syle that is very similar to their father's. beyuka_view1_124x150 (10K) beyuka_view1_497x600 (61K)

Many experts feel that Jonathan's craftmanship has surpassed the work of his father. Jonathan's pieces more recent, obvoiusly, but do not quite demand the prices of his fathers. That will surely change as Jonathan becomes even more well known. beyuka_view2_162x150 (11K) beyuka_view2_647x600 (48K) beyuka_view3_133x150 (12K) beyuka_view3_532x600 (66K) beyuka_view4_87x150 (6K) beyuka_view4_348x600 (35K)
