This wonderful heavy antique Silver and Turquoise bracelet is made by a fine Navajo craftsperson who worked for the late Carl Luthey (d. 1975). Carl ran a silversmithing shop where he employed many natives to fabricate his designs. This piece is quite heavy, nearly two pounds and measures approximately 5 1/2 inches around, with a 1 inch opening and nearly 2 inches wide across the top. carlluthey_view1_200x150 (11K) carlluthey_view1_800x600 (63K)

This piece, circa 1960s, is not stamped sterling as is traditional for its vintage; but, does bear the trantional symbol of the designer: a stick figure that represents his initials "CWL". Other representative pieces similar to this have recently sold for near to $1,000 so this is a good bargain price. carlluthey_view2_229x150 (14K) carlluthey_view2_800x523 (67K) carlluthey_view3_199x150 (11K) carlluthey_view3_795x600 (58K) carlluthey_view4_218x150 (14K) carlluthey_view4_800x550 (45K)
