Tiger Eye, or Tiger Iron? I always get the two confused. Anyways, this one is of the red variety. Probably from Australia, possibly Africa. Measures approximately 3 inches long by 7/8 inches tall and a hair over 3/16 inch thick; weighs approximately 0.8 ounces.

Here are a bunch of slabs of nicely colored Rhodonite. I'm not certain of the location where this originated, could be the Spider Mine in Northern California; one helpful emailer says Wrightwood area of Southern California (no longer open to collecting) or one of a handful of other areas. Each slab is similar size and thickness, all with good pink areas. Price is per slab, total of nine available. Smallest slab measures approximately 5 inches long by 2 7/8 inches tall and 5/16 inch thick; largest measures approximately 5 inches long by 4 inches tall and 5/16 inch thick; smallest weighs approximately 7.4 ounces and largest 9.7 ounces.

Nice chunk of Rhyolite or Wonderstone; probably from Nevada or Utah. Could get several decent slabs off this piece. There is a hint of yellow in some of the tan areas also. Measures approximately 3 inches long by 2 3/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inch at the thickest; weighs approximately 9.0 ounces.

And another mystery slab. Mostly dark hunter green with some hints of purple and some brown orby spots like a Morrisonite or other green picture jasper. Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long by 2 1/2 inches tall and 3/16 inch thick; weighs approximately 3.5 ounces.

Snowflake obsidian slab, lots and lots of well formed white flakes. It does have a couple of holes/imperfections just off-center. Measures approximately 4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches tall and 5/16 inch thick; weighs approximately 4.7 ounces.

A medium-to-large slab of a yellow brecciated jasper, unknown location; doesn't really resemble Stone Canyon or Stoney Creek but there are outcrops of similar material all up and down the central California coastal mountains; Measures approximately 7 inches long by 3 1/4 inches tall and 3/16 inch thick; total weight approximately 6.0 ounces.

A small slab of a yellow Tiger Eye; heel-cut slab so the backside is rough; Measures approximately 1 3/4 inches long by 7/8 inches tall and 1/4 inch thick at the thinnest spot; total weight approximately 0.6 ounces.

Chunk of what appears to be a lace agate. It is a heel cut, triangular shaped piece. Measures 5" at the longest across the face, 3" wide across the face and 1 1/2" thick, weighs 13 ounces. Old stock from an estate of a deceased rockhound.
$7.50
Chunk of what I believe is Gary Green jasp-agate (from Idaho?); It is a heel cut, triangular shaped piece. Measures 4 3/4" at the longest, 2 3/4" wide and 1" thick, weighs 14 ounces. Has some obvious fractures but could easily be used for tumbling stock. Old stock from an estate of a deceased rockhound.
$7.50
Large slab of what I believe is Mexican Crazy Lace agate; Measures 6 3/4" at the longest, 5" tall and 3/16" thick, weighs 8 ounces. Old stock from an estate of a deceased rockhound.
$5.00
Pretty slab of Polka Dot agate from Oregon; Measures 6 3/4" at the longest, 5" tall and 3/16" thick, weighs 8 ounces. Old stock from an estate of a deceased rockhound.
$3.00
Chunk of Owyhee or Succor Creek picture jasper. Measures approximately 4" by 3" by 2 3/4" and weighs OVER 2 pounds! It is kind of wedge shaped, with the cut face (shown in photo) being 3" by 1 1/2".
$13.00
Cute little slab of petrified palm wood. Although it's a little small (approximately 3 3/4" by 2 1/2" by 3/16") this slab has some wonderful eyes. Plus most of the edges have clear moss-included agate. The picture doesn't show real well but this should polish up quite nicely.
$2.00
Slab of Horse Canyon (or Owyhee) picture jasper. Measures approximately 4" by 3 1/8" by 3/16" and weighs 2.3 ounces.
$3.00
Beautiful slabs of green and white Jadeite, most likely from Clear Creek in San Benito County, Californina (my best guess - this came from the estate of a deceased rockhound). One measures 5 1/4" by 5 1/2" and 1/16" thin; the other is 5 1/2" by 3 3/4" by 1/8" thin.
$3.00
