Well, this is our workshop.
First a pretty crappy first-attempt at stitching together several photos
to make a sort of panorama. hover for larger detailed image
One workshop table, with one of our Thumler UV-10 Vibrating tumblers (hidden behind the box of Borax, lol).

Workshop table with 12" Lortone vibrating flat-lap, plus the 18 inch saw, and the 30 inch saw.

Partially hidden behind the door is a stainless steel sink with a small work area on the side; plus a 12
inch Highland Park (?) saw. Also one of our two 27 inch Diamond Pacific / Highland Park vibrating flat laps
in the lower left corner.

Some of our rocks, fairly organized. Plastic tubs of rough to work on, red trays are items in work.

A Black Rock Desert thunderegg (actually hollow, fairly rare for B.R. nodules) sitting in the 18inch saw
ready to get cleaned and polished.

Grinding miscellaneous pieces on the 27inch flat lap. The largest piece is this Poppy Jasper <missing link> slab.

Better view of the 30inch kit saw. Picked it up for a STEAL of a price (I'm actually sort of
ashamed at how cheap so I am not going to even put it in writing, lol). Lid is being re-worked to fit
our shop (photo further down below).

Re-worked lid for the 30inch saw. It used to be a complete rectangle; but that made it very difficult to
use in our shop because the corner would smack the wall. So, I angled off the upper back corner. At this stage
it is waiting for fiberglass corner re-inforcement and some shellac.

This, believe it or not, is a 90+ pound piece of Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper. Long story short, 1/2 of it is
ours, as soon as I get the 30 inch saw running and cut this in half. Notice that it is a little
bigger than the 5-gallon bucket it is sitting next to.

One of our friends traded this to us. We are pretty sure it is Mariposa Poppy Jasper, or possibly
(hopefully!) Guadalupe Poppy / Orbicular Jasper. Our friend got it from a Rockhound Estate sale,
and the old feller had collected it sometime in the '50s or 60's according to his wife; of course she
had no idea from where.
